High-volume fashion meets weightless form. This editorial for V Magazine transforms a simple studio into a surreal playground where couture lines dance alongside playful geometry. Balloons become more than props, they are sculptural elements that amplify the drama and energy of each frame. The goal was to create a dreamlike environment that feels emotionally charged yet elegantly refined, striking a balance between bold experimentation and thoughtful execution. Color and light were used with intention, pushing the visual language into new territory while keeping the experience relatable and immersive.

We had just eight hours to shoot the entire story, and the set relied on a single material: balloons. That limitation became a creative catalyst. Each arrangement was explored, manipulated, and reimagined to keep the narrative fresh and unexpected. Playing it safe was never an option. Every set demanded a unique approach to avoid repetition and ensure each image stood confidently on its own.

This project reflects my ability to craft compelling, fully realized work without relying on big budgets. It taught me how to collaborate under pressure, make fast decisions, and elevate minimal materials into something visually powerful. It’s a testament to restraint, precision, and the belief that limitations can spark the most exciting ideas.

Lighting became the heartbeat of the shoot, with strobes colliding against continuous sources to create a dynamic tension between warm and cool tones, complemented by select medium-format film frames for a natural, unforced quality. Through close collaboration and constant experimentation—working within rapid 20–30 minute resets—the talent’s movement activated the space as sculpted hair echoed surrounding forms, culminating in a refined mix of vibrant color and striking black-and-white compositions.
